1. The Service

BlockJobs is a curated job-board platform for the Web3, AI and Fintech industries. We publish job listings reviewed by our team, let candidates create profiles and apply to roles, and provide tools to help candidates and employers prepare for hiring (such as resume parsing, AI-assisted drafting, and AI-driven practice interviews).

We are a platform, not an employer. Employers posting roles on BlockJobs are independent third parties. We do not select candidates for them, are not party to any employment contract that results, and are not responsible for the conduct of any employer or candidate using the Service.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You can close your account at any time from the "Danger zone" section of your dashboard. If you can't access the dashboard for any reason, email the Data Protection Officer at dpo@blockjobs.work and we will close it for you.

3. Candidate profiles & resumes

When you upload a resume or fill in your profile, you grant BlockJobs the right to store that information and to share relevant details with employers whose listings you choose to apply to. You confirm that anything you upload is yours to share and is accurate. You can update or remove this information at any time from your dashboard.

4. Employer accounts & listings

Employers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of every job they post and for how they handle candidate data they receive through the Service. Employers must not:

  • Post discriminatory, misleading, or otherwise unlawful job listings
  • Use candidate data for any purpose other than evaluating the candidate for the role they applied to
  • Retain candidate data longer than necessary or share it with unrelated third parties

We may remove any listing and suspend any employer account that we reasonably believe to be in breach of these rules.

5. AI features

The Service includes AI-assisted features, including (but not limited to) resume parsing, "Improve with AI" free-text rewriting, and a 5-minute AI practice-interview tool. By using these features you acknowledge that:

  • Content you submit to AI features is sent to third-party AI providers (currently Google's Gemini API and DeepSeek) for processing, as detailed in the Privacy Policy §5.
  • AI outputs are generated automatically, may be incorrect or misleading, and should be reviewed before relying on them.
  • You should not submit data to AI features that you wouldn't want a third-party processor to handle.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Scrape, copy, or republish job listings or candidate profiles
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited outreach
  • Attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Service, including bypassing rate limits or attempting to extract another user's personal data
  • Impersonate another person or organisation
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable law, including Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and any equivalent law that applies to you

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules without notice.

7. Job listings

Listings are reviewed by our team before going live but BlockJobs is not the source of the underlying role. We make a good-faith effort to vet listings but cannot guarantee that any role is currently open, accurate, or free from errors. Always confirm details directly with the employer before relying on them.

8. Intellectual property

The BlockJobs name, logo, copy, and overall design are owned by us. You may not copy or reuse them without permission. Job listings and candidate profiles remain the property of whoever submitted them; by submitting them to the Service you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available without interruption, that any role on the platform is suitable for you, that any candidate will be hired, or that any AI-generated output will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlockJobs and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of profits, opportunities, or data. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) SGD 100.

11. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service you consent to that policy. For data-protection questions, contact the Data Protection Officer at dpo@blockjobs.work.

12. Termination

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by closing your account. We may terminate or suspend your access if we reasonably believe you are in breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — survive termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will let you know via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after the changes means you accept them. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

14. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved in the courts of Singapore. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Contact
